Speaking of DVD releases...

Some guy in a review on Amazon said Blue Underground is releasing a boxed set of all four Blind Dead movies. Anyone know anything about this? My video copies of Horror and Seagulls suck.

It's true, I started a thread on that a long time ago but I think it's been deleted due to lack of response. Hehe.

They also got the rights to Deathdream, which I've never seen but am dying to.

I HATED those huge boxes. I had a Scanners and a Wizard of Gore that were in freaking huge ass boxes.

I had the same copy of Wizard of Gore. Man, it was so lame-looking. Ever see their release of Werewolf Shadow, only they called it Blood Moon, and not only was all the nudity cut out, but the picture on the box looked like it was painted by a third-grader? I worked at a video store once that had a trash bag full of boxes whose tapes had been stolen, and I found a Video Gems copy of Dracula's Great Love. I was soooo pissed!

Our mom and pop video store still has some of those boxes. Class Reunion Massacre and shit like that. Can't say I've seen the Blood Moon box, though it sounds hilarious. Thank god for DVD's is all I can say-small, compact, and cannot be erased by the vacuum cleaner.

I'd be all over the D'Ossorio boxed set. I've only seen the first two films...

Deathdream is great also. Minimal explanation and logic, maximal weirdness and chaos. I think I have a copy of the same one Video Gems release that you do, Dr. K.
