Crysis

made by Crytek, the makers of farcry, thin one is about some sourt of alien invasion that starts off in the jungle (Gee..sound a little like far cry?) anyways, this is supposed to have the most incredible graphics out of any game out there. every single leaf cast its own shadow, and sunlight can go through them, poeples faces can change color, say when blushing, peoples pupils can get smaller and bigger depending on the light surrounding them. the faces are almost photorealistic. check out these shots. canit wait for this to come out.

Look at this shit. this is the model for one of the faces of the baddies.

o yeah and something else about this game that kicks total ass. you can mow down small trees. just like that scene in predator (You know the one). this will certainly invoke some interesting gameplay.

I first read about this back during E3. The graphics are so good it's obscene. no doubt the system requirements to run it with at least most of the bells and whistles will be ridiculous.

I cant wait though. i only played the 2 demos for far cry, but i was impressed. Crytek is good, very good.

Can't wait to play it, FarCry is such a blast. I still load it up sometimes. Looks better than Doom 3 to me.

Even if the actual quality of the graphics werent any different, far cry is just gorgeous, it takes place somewhere you would want to take a vacation. You know, minus the guys with guns and the mutants.

I was always amazed with the absolutely huge amount of surrounding enviroments, you can see for miles, and im pretty sure you might be able to swim out to the other islands, havnt tried it yet though. but really, the scenery is so vast and breath taking.

HL2 does a good job with that too, except for a lot of user-creat3ed maps where you can see the seams of the sky box. but that is the user-community's fault, not valve's

very true. HL2 tends to fade into mist much closer up. it's subtle though. You have to see something like that in order to be aware that hl2 doesnt go that far.
