Bravo's 100 Funniest Movies.

Some of this is just ludicrous. Fucking Dodgeball ahead of Monty Python and The Holy Grail?! Have these fuckers even watched Dodgeball? It's putrid!

Also, I think 'The Jerk' should be moved into that #3 spot Shrek is occupying. Then I'd have no problem with the top 5, even though there are movies on the list I think are funnier.

99. The Birdcage
98. School of Rock

Overall I don't have a problem with it. I'm sure I could think of some I'd like to see on there in place of some that don't exactly have to be there. Now the ordering is another story, I'd definately do a bit of rearranging.

at first glance the bias towards more recent films seems really out of place. . . some of the films of the last decade are very weak (anchorman - puh-lease). . . . and i didn't notice some of the truly classic comedies - Marx Brothers? Laurel and Hardy? Chaplin? Those are the icons of cinema history and they don't rate above Shrek or The Incredibles?
