IMDB confirms Topher Grace is Venom
For any of you that still need more proof about Spider-Man 3 villains, scooper "Michael" has been monitoring IMBD for us and noted that Topher Grace is indeed listed as being Venom in the coming Spider-Man 3 movie...



"Dont know who is peeking at IMDB lately, but I tuned in to it this morning and
saw that a little more information has been added next to Mr. Topher Grace's
name on the credits list of Spider-Man 3. Seems IMDB wants us to know who he
REALLY is... Not much of a suprise, but nice to know that the rumor mills can

There is going to be 3 villians in the movie and the return of uncle ben,Cptain Stacy Gwen's father will be in it possibly the black cat and the 3rd villian may well be Max Dillion a.k.a. Electro.

All I know, is what I've heard ages ago...

Sandman is the main villain, topher grace has a "bit part" as Eddie Brock, but doesn't actually become venom, or a major threat until the end of the film...more sequal potential.
Gwen Stacy is in the film, as is her father...how involved they are is unknown. Ben doesn't "return", it's either a dream or an illusion.

This is some old news.

Plus Venom isn't going to be in the movie. Just Brock. So this movie will probably be a prelude to Venom. But, by the looks of the official poster, Peter does seem to get possessed by the symbiote suit like in the comics. The same suit that attacks Brock by the way.

And if you haven't seen the poster, voila....




And Gwen Stacy will be in the movie, so that means MJ will probably die in this movie. And the confirmed villians are Sandman and Hobgoblin.

Oh right, the green goblin/hobgoblin history fucking hybrid...I didn't know that had made the cut.
Yeah, knew the suit was in it...I wonder if it'll do the same shit like taking him out beating the fuck outta people while he's asleep. Funny they kept the stripes on the suit, it looks like they've just pained the old one. I'm interested in what they'll be oding with the suits effects though.

One of my friends told me that they had read a script leak and that Peter goes out and beats the shit out of MJ or something. I don't know if I believe it....but...it could be a segway into Gwens part if the suit kills MJ.

If rumors are correct, the ending is going be a huge tease. Supposedly we're going to get a taste of Venom right at the end...cant wait.

Oh, is it just wishful thinking but does anyone else see a Venom-like shape in the eye of that poster?

No, I see it too. Can't wait to see Venom. I just wish they'd kick the Hobgoblin's ass out of there! The Green Goblin wasn't much of a villain IMO, and I don't expect much from the Hobgoblin.

After how Green Goblin was recieved by fans, I think we can expect a huge improvment with Hobgoblin. Potential to be a great character, hopefully not ruined like Green Goblin was.

It's Sandman Im not overly excited about...sure he'll look great, but I think he'll just slow down the progression to Venom.

You got that right. I'd actually like to see Rhino sometime shortly (yuo could make him the main villain in Spider-Man 4). And who else to play him then...
