Remaking creature from the black lagoon.

I looked up creature from the black lagoon on imdb and found out their making a remake I think that it might not actually be that bad if it's like the king kong remake.

"The creature from the black lagoon"is a all time classic!
I remember my dad bringing me to a small movie house and seeing it in 3D!!How do i feel about it being remade?Well for one last year i read a movie site that it was in the works.I don't agree about all the great films in remake hell.
Sure the cgi effects will be super but the gillman is the classic gillman.Thats how i feel,For some its okey but we have to be careful what road were traveling down whats stopping hollywood there,How about Star wars,Alien,Hellraiser,even... The wizard of oz.Think about it.

:(
