The Return of Swamp Thing

I just got this in a 2 pack with Basket Case. Only problem is I havent seen the first one. Will the harm the viewing experiance? Should I track down the original Swamp Thing before watching this?

now I must go off and ponder the meaning of life, and why my memory must suck at times.......

seriously..............if i could forget such classics as the swamp thing flicks, what else have i forgotten?.........*pauses for thought*.......

I could have been important once, but I've forgotten......

i don't think it will impact your viewing experience greatly.1 and 2 are two seperate stories.
