Horror Movie Shelf I painted

Here are some pics of the shelf I just finished painting to store part of my horror collection.

Let me know what you think.

And not that it's for sale or anything, but I'm kinda curious as to what people think something like this could sell for on ebay or something.

It'd be even funnier if anything on there actually looked like a martian.

Did you build it yourself, or just paint it? In my opinion, the blood spattered black looks really awesome, however your Jason and Myers leave some to be desired.

And BTW- If thats all your movies, good lord man! Get collecting!:p

I just got an old shitty ass shelf for free at a garage sale, sanded it down and painted it. I didn't build anything.

As for MM and Jason, I was working with 4 colors and fat brushes so I had to make them more cartoony. I think they turned out really well. Those closeups really show every single flaw but most of that stuff is entirely unnoticeable when you aren't sitting there with your face right up to it. The blood splatters were kinda a bitch to do, I sucked it up in a straw and then spewed it on there repeatedly. (Yuck!)

Puh-lease. That's not even a fiftyth of my movies. That's basically the stuff I've watched in the last month. Instead of putting them back into storage, I've been slowly transferring them to the shelf.

That shelf won't even hold all of my horror movies.

That's VERY cool!! I know you said you didn't have much to work with, as far as the MM and Jason...but it still looks great to me. I have no talent what-so-ever when it comes to painting...so it looks like a fine attempt to me. Good stuff.

Hehe... Not especially, but I do own the Pot 'o Gore. (Good eye!)

But that doesn't mean I'm a huge fan of the franchise or anything, actually it kinda sucks. lol (See my gradings in the Last seen movie thread. I think all 5 of those ones in the box set got between C and D-. But being a devoted horror fan, I had to buy it.)
Once I have the whole room set up, I'll post a pic so you guys can see my horror collection.
