Lightbulb Halloween idea

This used to be something you did to your friends anonymously.
Pack a bag full of halloween knick-knacks and candy, buy a card and write in it that that person has just been "booed" and will never know the person that gave it to them, and if able, to "boo" someone else.

Me and some others took this idea a step further and started leaving bags on people's doorstep that were less fortunate and especially people who had kids.

*You can also do this for Christmas, leave a bag of goodies where you know it will be appreciated.*

Just a thought.

You definitely live in a better neighborhood than i did.
The only thing left on doorsteps were bags of flaming poop.

That is a great idea. Thanks for the suggestion, though no one trusts each other in my neighborhood.... Probably a good reason for that, after all, I live here. :p

Well, you're suppose to ring their doorbell and run away before they see you...and then think how nice they'll feel when they see it's not anything bad!!

It may sound silly, but the first time I got booed,I felt really good,it was a nice fuzzy warm feeling inside:)

The Halloween season ALWAYS gives me a warm fuzzy, and I do not "BOO" people like that, but I do go around with little bags of treats and plastic toys and so on and give them out to people. It makes people happy and I meow meow love it!!

If I could get away with it, without getting shot, or my ass kicked that is, I'd leave something for the little girl in the building next to me. Her parents are either alcoholics, druggies, or just plain stupid...they're ALWAYS screaming at each other for one reason or another, and she sits outside on her porch with her dog all the time. I grew up like that, it ain't fun.
Good idea though, I'll see what I can do.

I see we have some similarities.

Maybe you can hide the bag until her folks are gone or passed out and then give her a note from"The Great Pumpkin" telling her he left a halloween present for her.

What a great thread...I didn't think there was anyone left out there that had such a good heart...:)
