I just hope Wes puts a "hip, young cast" in it, so then they can advertise the movie as having a "hip, young cast". Fuck plot, all you need are plot devices !

Please no, Scream did its job to revitalize the horror industry at the time. Besides 3 was gay, 2 was part one all over again except for the Friday the 13th rip-off. The only good was was part 1 and it shouyld have been left there. And I am a Scream fan, its actually the movie that got me into horror, but after seeing all that horror has to offer, Scream is like a small speck compared to other titles.

Dammit! Why another one? The sequels have been pretty bad, so why make more? Oh yeah, the money it'll make! Let's see, the first one was a huge box-office smash. Second followed up nicely in the box-office as did 3. So, if they make a 4th, they can get even more money. Smart idea? Yes! Will I see it in theaters? Maybe. Will I ever watch it? Hell Yeah!!! :D

Hey whats going on every body new to these forums but im a horror fan so I thought I'd join, Well I came to this section of the forum first an i saw "scream 4" so I thought I would check up on it saying scream 3 was on last night, heres what i came up with, I found it on another wep site:
Latest updates on Scream 4 Scream 4 Updated : Friday 29th August 2003: Scream 4 Update: Steve has been in touch with the following, that while it's not news is certainly worth chewing over " With regard to scream 4: allegedly, when Neve Campbell signed on to do Miramax/Dimension release of Wes Craven and Kevin williamson's werewolf movie "Cursed" she signed on for a fourth scream movie, as part of her contract. Although now it seems Neve will not be starring in "Cursed", and Christina Ricci has now taken her place. The question, now is, is she still legally binded to Scream 4? In addition, Kevin Williamson has expressed a keen interest in a fourth Scream movie, stating "i have ideas for a fourth one"." Tuesday 15th April 2003: Scream 4 Update: According to someone in the know, there won't be a Scream 4. Franchise producer Cathy Konrad said in an interview: “There's not really a fourth one (in the works). If the story's good, I love a good story. When Kevin (Williamson) sold me the original script to Scream, he also told me the other two, and I knew in my head what they were going to be. Which means probably not getting made yet or the script is still being worked on, Bummer I loved scream an the leaving of the door open in the last final minutes of scream 3 left room for another one I thought, Sequals are never as good but entertaining never the less... heh
