likely best film of the year

I loved every frame of SIN CITY, it's violent and mean, as well as funny and moving. This is gonna be a tough one to beat this year. It's not 100% horror, but still scarier than a lot of recent horror films.

Not to mention any movie with Mickey Rourke and Rutger Hauer both in it just has to rule. I love the mix of old favs (Bruce Willis, Michael Madsen) and new favs (Jessica Alba, Clive Owen, and Rosaria Dawson). FROM DUSK TILL DAWN is one of my top ten horror favs, but I think SIIN CITY is Robert Rodriguz's best movie.

Seeing Rourke in a quality leading roll again is one of the biggest thrills I've had in years..
