Avatars

Alright I don't want to sound like a jackass, but if someone could help me with something it would be much appreciated.

Could someone instruct me how I could customize an avatar.
I tried doing it but I don't know what the hell I'm doing.

A Maniac Cop avatar. Awesome. He is, after all, the only villain who can kill Bruce Campbell. Haha.

it's easy, use any photo editing program and reasize it
you can even use the stretch option in paint, just choose something lower then 100%

Yeah like Mud said, just resize it in a photo editing program. Its gotta be 100x100 pixels on this board. Try to chop off the side thats longer so you can get it as close to square as possible, that way you can make it bigger. Oh yeah, if your using PaintShopPro make sure you save it as a jpeg or gif i think it default saves as a PSP file and that wont work.
