I scored BIG!!!!!!!!!!!

No unfortunately not with a hot Ingrid Pitt look alike :(
A local sporting good store here in town is going out of business and is practically giving things away. I am a avid bass fisherman and cleaned up tonight buying various bass baits. I got a total of 25 baits of various styles....crank baits, jerk baits, spinner baits, top water plugs and 5 bags of soft plastic baits. All of these were top name brands....Srtike King, Rapala, Smithwick, Excalibur, Storm. All of these usually sell from $4.99 to $6.99 each. They were on sale for .97 cents each and then given a 25% discount so each one cost me .73 cents each :D  I got $125.00 to $150.00 worth of stuff for aout $25.00 :D If any of you are familiar with bass fishing or fishing in general you know why I'm so happy !!!!!!!!!!! :D

top stuff!! always cool when you come across a great bargain. :)

I used to go fishing years ago with mates from school, night fishing was good, we had this tent thing we'd pitch and sit there chatting, eating loads of stuff and drinking some beers, whilst waitng for the fish to bite... was even better ledger fishing during winter in the snow.

Sitting in the boat drinking beers out on the lake is the best part about fishing :D Well, maybe a 10 lb largemouth bass might be a little better!!!! ;) I'd like to try ice fishing during the winter but not really possible in Texas :(

i used to fish all the time .. bought a lot of stuff myself (when Mepps was the big name) and inherited a ton of junk from my grandfather..

this is funny ... when i was a little kid playing baseball - during a game i was running the bases ... stopped on 2nd and there was a 6" minnow with 3 big hooks ... i still have it today.

and a couple of years ago i was taking my kid for a Dr appointment .. the office was at the base of a train tracks overpass ... in the grass in front of where i parked my car .. i found a rod - with a working Mitchel reel.. someone must have thrown it out of their car ... bad day on the lake i guess

lol talking of chucking rods away, there was a canal we used to go to, in a rough area, but the canal was good for fish, anyway, there was a disused industrial estate behind where we sat, and over the fence you could see quite a few busted rods and bits of other equipment chucked there.... many bad fishing days must have been had on that canal lol.

After looking at your gallery and comments like that last quote, I have one question for you.

Does the term "Pack Rat" mean anything to you?
