I don't know if I'd call them "punk", but the Yeah, Yeah, Yeah's have a pretty cool sound. Then there is Lacuna Coil and Otep.

X is a punk band with a girl and a guy singing. I only heard them once. So I don't know.
My favorite girl singer is Nico. She's not metal or punk. She's something difference. If you download music. Download. Velvet underground's - Femme Fatale. Its better than all that other shit...
