the script is supposedly still being written. Don't get your hopes up. Once again, Dimension has destroyed this franchise like they destroy all of horror. It will probably suck horribly.

The biggest problem I have is that Dimension has stopped trying to give us a story in the films and just goes for the whole kill everything that walks. Granted, I can't resist seeing Michael do away with random characters, but I would really like to see a good story develope for the last 2

In all probability this will be the last Halloween film if it bombs horribly, and they may opt to add Micheal to another horror series (ala FvJ) to try and revive the franchise.

That being said, I'm sure it won't be as bad as Resurrection. I actually liked Resurrection for what it was, and I can't see a picture of Busta Rymes now without thinking "Wha-Chung Lee!"; but I realize alot of people had a problem with it because the story was a bit weak.

Supposedly according to rumours Jamie Lee Curtis may be in the next film, meaning either she is a figment of Micheal imagination, it is a prequel of sorts to H20 or she was not killed in Resurrection after all. That's all I've heard on the film other than the fact that they spoke with John Carpenter about it.

Really? I heard she said no way to the 9th, and the only reason she was in Ressurection was because she was contracted for a thirty second appearance at the beginning but said she liked the movie so much (which I can't believe) that she agreed for more time.

I don't know, I love Jamie Lee Curtis. If she's in the 9th, it'll probably be pretty good.

the Figment of Michael's Imagination thing has promise. Yeah, the "stab someone, repeat" style is getting old. A nice 2-movie story arc would be a good way to end the series. But that would involve some planning ahead...
