human guinea pigs
So this thing came on tv for some PRacs institute, talking about paying $1250 for some skin testing siht
i was thinking of doing it, just cuz it would be fun. well that $1250 is like 16 some odd visits every MWF so im like fuck that. they had some week long studies for $225... but turns out u hafto stay at the institute a whole weeekend (in case u have an accident obviously) anyway, anyone ever tried anything like this? sprout any new limbs perhaps? i think it would be fun ya know? but i dont wann waste my weekend. B.

never done it myself and dont think I'd fancy having Docs prod me about in medical tests, heard it's easy money though depending on what they do to you, and if it makes you ill or feel bad.

It's not like you're likely to contract anything... I remember my girl signed up for one o' these things through Sydney University, she got to drink vodkas and play videogames. Too bad the study was only on females... I had to wait 'til I got home to get wasted and play videogames... :( I dunno what PRacs institute is...but, I guess if you leave a note indicating them as the guilty party, when (sorry....IF) you die from whatever it is they're gonna do to you, I guess everyone will know NOT to deal with them in future, right?......right? - B.

anyway. i dunno if PRACS specializes in anything, but i watched the commercial and this $1250 in particular was using some skin patches for some sort of dermatological type shit anyway. im not into that, ya know? i itch like hell. i dunno, it hink it would be fun to mess around with this shit but i dont like the idea of staying at some institute. that and my skin is already really sensitive (eczema and the sun thing) i got invited to a wine tasting thing once but im not 21 lol. i also got invited to some car thing, its cool cuz all u do is look at all their cars and rate em. u get food and like $100. i didnt get in tho. but maybe next time!! B.

Silly girl...
Think about it, the research they do on YOU may in fact be making products for people with sensetive skin like you, and would be able to make them all the better with your input. I'd say the overall result COULD be worth the endurance...and, well, the money aint half bad...

I tend to shy away from being a guinea pig for medical research ... too freaky for me. But I have been paid for psychological research before. Now that's the way to go. You just let them fuck with you a little bit and they measure your brain waves. Plus, I got to take a nice long nap and get paid! :)
