Ladykillers

Well tonite I rented Ladykillers.......a black comedy, and TCM the remake. So far saw LK.

Anyone see it yet?

Well I am a huge fan of the original with Alec Guiness and Peter Sellars. This one is not even a fraction as good as the original. Although it does get better in the last quarter, it lacks the true darkness, and chemistry of the original.

Hey, how can you beat PS and AG as a twosome. Geniuses!

Not bad.......just another movie they shouldn't have remade. Tom Hanks though, was great in his role I must say......and it did have some funny moments..............oh well off to watch TCM.......another remake

Haven't seen it yet, but I will soon. It's Coen brothers, so I'm sure I'll like it.

P.S. When isn't Tom Hanks great? That guy's awesome!

The Hitchickers guide to the galaxy provides this definition of the word infinite.
Bigger than the biggest thing ever and then some. Much bigger than that in fact, really amazingly immense, a totally stunning size, real "wow thats big," time. Infinity is just so big that, by comparison, bigness itself looks really quite titchy. Gigantic multiplied by colossal multiplied by staggeringly huge is the sort of concept were trying to get across here.

IMPORTS: none
It is impossible to import things into an infinite area, there being no outside to import things in from.

You guys really have to see the original if you haven't though.........really so much better....LK I mean!

About TCM..........well..........it wasn't that bad........def not as scary as the original. That one seemed alot more real. I haven't seen the original for many years though...can't find it anymore.

It is too bad that remakes are almost always disappointments. The only one lately that I've seen that I was impressed with was Willard.

OMG...I LOVE Willard!...Haven't seen Ladykillers, though...A comedy?...I think I'll pass...But, I really liked Tom Hanks in Green Mile, The Burbs and Castaway

TCM Remake wasn't all THAT bad...But, it can't touch the original...No way...No how...

Man, the remake of TCM was way better than the original. Better acting, more suspense, better SFX.
