yeah yeah yeah ..... Someone isnt 'yelling' some bitch in a 'position of authority' is abusing a professional working relationship by trying to crap on me in front of my peers that way. its demeaning, disrespectful and abusive. something usually only done by someone who figures their status will let them get away with it. time for a reality check. actually hit ..no probably not just like that... - i've got more control than that - i'd only threaten to do it... a warning. but i'd probably have the front of his shirt at the throat bunched up in my fist if he kept going after that. after that its his choice - i dont give a fuck if that makes me worse. |

no - never. I've never yelled at anyone.
i had a few fights as a kid but i was protecting myself - i didnt start them. I raised my voice at someone a little - at work when i was burned out badly one time ... but i didnt swear or carry on and i apoligized immediately after. i never had a temper unless i was REALLY pushed ... and if i was pushed that far - there was no yelling and swearing.... i'd usually just punch and break something when no one was around. won all my fights though - except a couple when i went nuts on guys way bigger than me - (as i said before - if i was pushed really hard) i never cared how big the fucker was of how bad i was getting beaten either ... i juist kept coming like an idiot :) when i became 'the big guy' i never fought.... but anyway - thats kids VS grown adults in a professional environment - 2 entirely different things |

"OMG SOMEONE YELLED AT SOMEONE!" It's just not that big of a drama to me. Someone in this thread said something along the lines of their opinion of him starts and ends with his movies....that's pretty much where I stand. I could care less if he's a dick and DIDN'T apologize. He makes movies that I enjoy...but you know what there are a lot of actors out there who are notoriously big assholes, moreso than Bale. Speaking of which....Orson Welles was a lot more sophisicated at being a dick, but he was still a dick: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcYCccE9ziU |

where do you work ? a record store owned by a guy ? KFC ? that would be a firing offence anyplace i've ever worked. no exceptions. you think that was just 'yelling' ? he threatened to have him fired. |

It was out of line, I don't disagree with that.
But you should listen to the link I posted where he apologized on the radio. He, himself, makes a lot of points that I have been saying. The fact is, this isn't KFC...it's a private set. And I work in video games, which is still just an office setting when you break it down. I've seen, been involved in, and experienced similar outbursts against me, though admittedly not as lengthy. It's just not something to get worked up about, imo....especially to those not involved. -D Last edited by UngodlyWarlock; 02-06-2009 at 02:20 PM. |

I guess I've just become overly accustomed to working with a-holes. Generaly when I am witness to someone's 'breakdown', I find it halarious to snicker and point at whoever set off the 'breakdownee'. Sometimes I like to even throw in an agreeing,"Ya!" or,"You tell him!" But then nobody cares when people freak out at my job.
