I can understand not wanting to waist money, that's why I see all of my movies matinee style. Cant beat $5 for a movie, good or bad. Personally I enjoyed the new Turtles. I consider myself an old school turtles fan, I still own all of the VHS tapes including the ones Burger King was giving out as exclusives. Regardless, I am 100% capable of ignoring that there was an original and accepting any movie, remake or not, as an original movie. It makes them much easier to watch when you don't compare every aspect to what you loved about the original.

I've actually seen a fair share of good remakes, but they are very far and few in between. Do notice my sig is from 2010's Wolfman and not the original. Although not the best werewolf film, it paid a decent homage to Lon Chaney Jr.'s classic. The wolf was great, the story was kept fairly the same (until the end that is), and the character of Lawrence was just beautiful. Was it better than the original? No. The character of Lawrence's father kind of ruined what chance it had at being great I think (and he was played by one of the greats, Anthony Hopkins, I was much disappointed). And the uncessisary CGI of the deer and the bear still confuse and annoy me to this day. But they didn't go CG on the wolf. In fact, they brought in Rick Baker, and he did brilliant. What's the point of my ramblings? If the good points out weigh the bad, a decent remake is possible. And I do look for them. I could go the opposite and explain a bad remake with the new TMNT, but I think I've gone on long enough to make my point that I'd just be rambling now.

Confusing reviews. Some say "feeble" copycat end, others say high energy new-type end. Most negative reviews tell me every thing i need, and acutally make me want to see in theater!

I'll be looking forward to your opinion on it. Chances are I'll be working that night so even if I wanted to risk seeing it on opening night I wouldn't be able to.

That's nice to know. It honestly looked like an exact copy of the original from the trailer.
