I think that's neet, I love to watch for him in his movies. Another person that does that with movies is Stan Lee, the creator of Spider-man, Incredible Hulk, Fantastic Four, X-Men, etc..., he has been in all the movies of the characters he created.

I guess I like his books over his movies just because I'm more accustomed to reading his books. In some ways, they're better than the movies because he puts so much detail into his work that can't be conveyed through movies. Kind of like what Survivor said.

I actually didn't like that one Leatha. I love Julian Sands too. Go figure.

1- that would mean i wouldn't get to see them cause my husband never lets me read, so i have to wait for it to become a movie.

2-that would mean we'd have less to talk about on this site...specifically this thread! haha:D

Seriously, i love his movies...even if they aren't usually as good as the books!
Whoah! If I was married and my husband didn't let me read books he wouldn't be my husband for long!
To each their own i guess
As for Steven King movies I liked Kubrick's Shining and It was pretty freaky, I haven't seen as many as I should have. Maximum Overdrive and Creep Show were fun.

I agree! I spent every spare second reading before I got married. Even in high school, i'd walk thru the halls reading and teachers were amazed at how I never ran into people or things. And Stephen was almost always who I was reading. The books are always better, and sometimes they end differently like with the original Children of the Corn (which was a short story and only part of a book to begin with) But I still love movies. And his are always entertaining to me. I even love the Stand![

Wait, why would you say "I even love the Stand!" That implies that many people don't like it. I was under the impression that it was a good film and pleased many folks. Am I wrong?

I don't know about the people on this site, but everyone I know in person didn't like it. They don't usually like anything I like tho!
