i agree, it is a foregone conclusion. i posted it to resolve an argument in a long since dead thread. you have to admit, it is promoting a lot of comment. based on the content on the initial thread i think a lot of closet scream fans are keeping their heads down in the face of a landslide. you're right, you can't really compare the benchmark for probably the most popular horror sub-genre with a humourous parody of the sub genre. scream does deserve a little credit, it is a solid movie that contributed to the recent horror kick start
