to be honest, this place goes through phases. It has for 4 years now, at least. this is just another one, it isnt the end of the world or the forum, it is just the natural order of things. they will get better again, and worse again. this isnt even El Nino, it's just run of the mill. Especially in the early winter months.

Honestly, though. People's moods, bullshit tolerance, and overall irritability seems to be tied linearly to the length of the day. this time of year, we are all cooped up, and even nice sunny days are cold as hell for many of us, and that breeds 2 things:

To deal with themood, som of us screw around more, and part 2, the rest of us have less patience for it.

Now, for the people who live further south, well, the days are still shorter, and that does have a subtle effect. And as for the Aussies and New Zealanders?

Well, they can be a right pissy bunch for living in such beautiful countries. :D must be the poisonous animals and giant insects.

In all honesty, these antics make me not want to come here. I'm not about to say that I've been the best/most friendly/most intellectual poster here, but I think I have contributed some. When I see that nearly every thread is being shitted up with this kind of idiocy, it just makes me want to avoid this place. For the record, it's not just bigloader either.

I'm for banning on sight. If an IP ban could be issued, that would be preferable.

I just don't understand how people could be turned off of visiting the site because of it. I put this latest incarnation of immaturity and stupidity on ignore after his first or second post and never saw anything from him again. I'm not saying that coming here less isn't an answer I just personally don't see what that decision accomplishes.

Hey look at me, I got banned a shitload of times about 2 yerars ago'I came back and started being a dick, not that I craved the attention but because some drunk hillbilly mod got wasted and banned half the board and most people that banned had never done anything wrong, he just didn't like them.Then the kicker was they still let him mod!

Bigloader is the only one that I personally feel should be banned, but there are plenty of other idiots that make this place less fun than it used to be. Ignore is one thing, but having to put half the active members on there is a little much.

Vod is right though...this places does go in cycles.

I don't know.... I guess I didn't see what was said specifically that this all refers to but it seems to me that things are getting just a bit melo-dramatic around here. We've had trolls in the past, we'll have them again in the future. Some people ignore them, others fuck with them. Mods ban them, they return. It's nothing new. Finding a forum out there that didn't have it's share of fucktards... Now that'd be something that would surprise me.
