Are they?

I have stopped watching cartoons completely for awhile now.

Back in their day, the family of Looney Tunes was a blast in itself - Bugs, Daffy, Marvin, Elmer, Sylvester, Tweety, Porky, Yosemite Sam, Road Runner & Wile Coyote, Foghorn Leghorn...am sure I am missing a few others...

Rocking show!

hanna barbara had some cool ideas ... some weird futuristic superhero teams - stuff like that - but the animation was lazy crap.

the only cartoons where i found bad animation acceptable - were Spiderman, Hercules, and Rocket Robin Hood.

definately acid trip inspired animation .... worked for me .

The thing about Bugs Bunny cartoons , and as a child we never noticed, is the humor was geared towards adults. Even today, though I haven't watched cartoons in quite some time.

Seriously. I remember not watching Looney Tunes for several years. Then I started watching them again in my early 20's, and I was amazed at how fresh the humor was to me. They're so multi-generational it's borderline genius. The kids love them for their slapstick comedy (which I also still find hilarious) and adults can enjoy them in a whole new light for their cleverly scripted barbs and aside jokes.

You know, the most wonderful thing about Looney Tunes is, you can still watch em today and have a good laugh.

I have noticed, and I HATE that.....I love the Looney Tunes cartoons, still my favorites. Used to watch 'em with my dad, they are his favorites as well, and we would both laugh like crazy. Very smart, and lots of fun.

Johnny Quest was the shit. They would never make a cartoon like that today.

There was some kind of superman cartoon movie on TV a few months ago ... I don't remember its name but it was good.
