In Devil-Hunter's defense, the Real Ghostbusters got into soem pretty interesting stuff for a while, including an island where there was a war between werewolves and vampires, way before underworld cheapened the idea to death, and even an episode where they went against Cthulhu.

As far as "lets milk this idea for money" cartoons go, it is the one shining gem.

Invader Zim was awesome. It would have done much better if they hadnt tried to gear it towards kids.

Love the old loony toons....Bugs and the gang. Droopy Dog being one of my favorites. And some of the animation back "in the day" rivaled that of Disney. Look at some old Tom & Jerry....the detail was amazing.

I am all for the older cartoons.

Bugs Bunny, Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry (my fav!), Disney's assortments (including Talespin & Duck Tales), The Flintstones, old school Spider-Man cartoons...heck, I miss em all now. Used to rush out of beds on Saturday mornings, and rush back from school to catch re-runs...ahh those were the days!

Come to think of it, I gave up on new-age cartoons for quite awhile now. Nothing on modern TV networks interests me much. The last one I watched and really enjoyed was a Tom & Jerry episode.

For the record.....a lot of the stuff I'm talking about is even before MY time [ if ya can believe that ] The animation was getting pretty lazy when I was a kid. Flinstones with the same backround in any running scenes. Another fav of mine was Johnny Quest.
