The first one is just idiotic.

The second one is pretty sweet. I could do that where I live, but it would be pointless. It's pretty secluded, & the only person it would scare would be the pizza guy who occasionally brings me dinner.

Well...wait for it...I have grandchildren that I sure as f*ck wouldn't want seeing that! On top of maybe having to explain it to them. Why doesn't the a-hole do a concentration camp display, or Jeffrey Dahlmer.

meh someone always needs something to complain about.

As for the displays, the 2nd one is badass. The first one I don't really see how it is an anti-ISIS statement, but excluding the guy in the cage, I definitely agree with the statement but I am not sure if that is really appropriate for Halloween or for someone's yard for children to see.

I like the second one. My first impression of it was 'needs more gore', but I'm a haunted house junkie and love my effects so that's just force of habit I guess. I actually agree with what Boss posted, mostly because I remember how easily freaked out I was as a kid and how heartless adults would be when I was so terrified I couldn't sleep at night.

UPDATE

Quote:
PARMA, OH – Vicki Barrett’s front yard now sits empty after her she decided to take down her controversial Halloween display.

She said she was getting too much attention and it made her family feel unsafe.

"I came down one night a little bit after midnight and happened to see stuff flashing in my front yard and looked out my window and our front yard was full of people that we didn't know," she said.

"I don't think we even want to do anything. We don't even want to put up a pumpkin or any of what some people would think are typical Halloween decorations," she said.

"That's not the way we want to express it. I think by us decorating this way maybe some people think that we should, would be us caving in and this is not a caving in thing, this is a safety thing for our family,” she explained.

Lol. It's no worse than any gory scene I suppose. I was a soldier for 8 years and spent time overseas, and I'm not offended, I just think the homeowners are morons who have no clue. But hey, if you want to make some awkward political statement on your lawn during Halloween loosely connecting the President to Isis or something, well hell, this is America, so...I guess go ahead. The children will be fine. The scene looks way too lame to be scary.
