Ditto & Halloween (1978), I guess.

Night Of The Living Dead does seem right.
I didn't even think about Ghostbusters, but it does make sense. Especially with the reboot coming up.

I would go with original Halloween, Ghostbusters, or the recently popular Walking Dead series. Although that's a TV series.
What's the highest grossing horror movie? I remember the Friday the 13th remake did well at first. Whatever it is could be the answer. |

Doubt it; because they lost their copyright... No big distriutor can have exclusive rights; scares them off. Highly doubt it. My mom, dad, brother & sisters doesn't know that movie. barking up the wrong tree. There you go! Halloween. They know that film. Depending how we define horror. I'm kinda surprised so many people here consider Ghostbusters horror. I never thought of it as a horror movie, even though there were ghosts in it.

My random guess would be the original Halloween or the Exorcist. Though I know some in the newer crowd are not as keen on older films.

This would be a good guess as well since it is so easy to get. I once got a copy through a book I bought...lol. I probably have it maybe like three or four times and I actually never bought it intentionally. Not that it is bad or anything, it's actually a favorite. It just so happens that I never bought it intentionally. |

It's like Young Frankenstein... It's primarily a comedy, but it's Horror themed. So, take your pick. Ghostbusters and Young Frankenstein are one of those multi-themed films Comedy and Horror. So I lump it in. Last edited by Sculpt; 09-10-2015 at 08:28 PM. |

Jaws is a really good guess. Friday the 13th is another very plausible choice. I do not think a whole lot of people have the Universal classics. I love them, but I am not sure how many of the general public, even the horror crowd, actually own them. |
