Oh God, how awful!

Luckily I discovered our system was broken back in April and had the whole thing replaced.

The heat wave is supposed to end tomorrow or Friday.

That only happens to the rich dumbfucks who build/buy in the burn zones. The chaparall burns naturally and when it's gone, there's nothing to hold the soil together in the rain, so wild fires and mudslides affect the same regions every year.

Where I live I can smell an ocean breeze blowing in the window and it's even getting a little chilly. L.A. is my favorite city I've lived in in the U.S. (and I've lived in Washington DC, NYC, Boston, Milwaukee, San Francisco and Kansas City).
