Awww that's too cute. not as cute as me wearing a banana clip on my face and pretending I was Geordi LaForge, though. I also realllly wanted to be a borg for a large span of time.

Haha. I did always like Geordi, though at that age I just couldn't see how he could see with that thing on.

I think Data also had a pretty large effect on me. That pale skin and yellow eyes. Slightly unsettling.

Sitting at my computer, I just remembered going on my dad's old one, dunno wha type it was but it must have been before Windows 95. There was a very old Prince of Persia game on there, and we could never beat the last level. There was a mirror image of the prince who started off with a knife, and if you were lucky enough to find one before he killed you and stabbed him, you'd die too because he was you.

One of my earliest memories that still makes me smile to this day is one of my grandfather. Both my parents worked so my GF had a huge impact on me as he took care of me week days.

Anyway when i was about 3 my GF had a very serious clot in his leg which ended in it being amputated. I was brought into visit him a few days after this happened - he had a IV (drip) beside his bed and I asked him what it was for and he repliled 'Thats where i keep my goldfish but its out for a walk now..'

This was a few days after he lost his leg - he was dead within a week.

He was such a cool man.

Wow. That must be a strange memory for you. It was a sad time but he managed to make something good of it. Sounds like a good man.
