Jacobs ladder is a ver frightening film.

And if you really want to be scared, have children growing up in this fucked up world.

And if that doesnt do it for ya, come over to my place. I can take ya up to the loft in the barn and really give ya a fright.

We have a veal slaughter house just east of me. I know someone who works there. I can get us a tour.;)

Demonic Possesion scares me to the core, because you can never, ever know who its going to happen to next. If it exists, that is.

Sometimes I think I'm now immune to being frightened by movies (which kinda makes me sad, since that's why I became a horror buff to begin with).

Then I'm watching TV at 2:00 am and the Shining comes on, and pretty soon I'm looking over my shoulder and sleeping with the light on.

I think it's more about HOW I watch movies now, more than the movies themselves.

I can't imagine ever being scared in a movie theater, surrounded by noisy people. All of my horror watching is at home, and often alone.

Movies. The Exorcist and The Exorcism of Emily Rose both scared the hell out of me.

Originally I was just asking for film reccomendations in a round about way but why not everything? What scares the shit out of you guys and why would you want to do anything other than simply avoid it? Personally (and I know this is weird) I'm terrified of birds. Turkeys, chickens and especially vultures. I don't even like to be in the same room as someones parrot but I can't even look at pictures of large birds. It's nothing profound or Freudian I just have these crazy ass nightmares occasionally about being eaten by vultures (speaking of Tales From the Crypt). At the zoo here there are condors that look like pterodactyls. I have to walk completely out of my way to avoid even seeing these things.
Car crashes too. At least I drive but the idea that I'm going to be mangled on the highway is always in the back of my mind. It's not the death I fear so much as the dismemberment.

And please, try to take no offence... I am afraid of Christians.

But yeah, that Emily Rose movie looks pretty scary. I'll go see it, get scared out of my teeth, take a xanax, then discuss the movie with either my brother or Zwoti or both... not at the same time, obviously.

Love to discuss with a certain Bloodrayne, but she hasn't answered my pm. ;) ;) :D

LOL...That's because I have SOO much to do right now...No phone time (school has started back)...AND...I keep having to leave the house! ...Fortunately, it rained today, so it wasn't so bad....Unfortunately, I just got home, I ate to much while we were out and it has made me miserable, and I have a shitload of stuff to do.....

Okay...Answering PM now:D
