gren, like, you know how the tail of a shrimp is in three sections, well the meat of the shrimp goes all the way into that middle section. when you peel shrimp, start at the head on the side with the legs and peel the shell off, when you get to the top and there are no legs just pull on the outside two flippers things, usually it will come right off. if the shrimps shell is all mooshy and peels away all easily, like you can rub the shell off, then the bugger was dead before they fished it's rotting carcus out of the ocean.
Oh yeah, and don't whine to me about getting poked by shrimp head until you've worked a season steaming royal reds.

yo. i know how to peel a shrimp. i been pealin shrimps since u been peelin hang nails.
i meant like. the flippers i guess is the word. ya know, the tail. do u actually pull the flipper skin OFF or do yuo just take the entire flippper - meat and skin - off? i leave my flipper meat in there. and i will whine about being stabbed. i have piano hands and trying to keep them very nice, and ill be damned if they'll be done in by a fuckin dead shrimp head.

yeah man, leave that meat. Every part of the shrimp is good for something, shit. If you worried about presentation then leave the tail on and butterfly them, let the person eating it decide how much shrimp they get. I want some king crab...
