I had no clue what was going on in that scene.

It's a curious scene (6th sense/poisoning girl). From what I read, the mother, or step mother, has a condition called Münchausen Syndrome by Proxy, where people will harm themselves to get attention - or "by Proxy" harm another to get attention. There's a further hint at this by the fact the mother is wearing a red dress at the funeral.

I generally don't cry over movies/tv shows but I do get misty eyed once in awhile. The Lone Survivor was the most recent one that touched my heart. Mainly because my own son is a Marine and I just couldn't imagine that happening to him.

I have a hard time seeing animals get hurt or killed and that can really make me misty!!

Let's just say that if all the corpses were to stand up at once, we'd have one hell of a population problem

I'm the same with animals. I really hate it when one's hurt on screen.

I cry a lot in movies. Anything a bit sad or sentimental. Hotel For Dogs made me cry at the cinema.

... I definitely get emotional during movies - Sometimes it catches me by surprise (recently, I thought that Her was so beautiful it made me tear up at the end) and sometimes I watch movies that I know will make me cry on purpose - When I need a good cry. |

I saw "My Girl" in the theater and remember getting a pretty big lump in my throat during that one. When Anna Chlumsky delivered the line "Put his glasses on, he can't see without his glasses" I heard so many people let out a loud sob it was unreal. I think everyone in that room was crying.
