I meant to post this a couple months ago but never got around to it.

Resolution was pretty good if you like indie, mumblecore, subtle meta-horror (not plainly spelled out like Cabin in the Woods or Behind the Mask), and perhaps some tongue in cheek (or maybe not). I think ChronoGrl might find it interesting.

Yes!! Resolution was a great little gem! Loved it. So odd and perfect in its absurdity and smart too. Reminds me a bit of yellowbrickroad and The Corridor.

I'm going to have to watch both of those now. I think it was you're recommendation of The Signal that got me to notice this subgenre, which really matches my tastes.

That sounds a bit odd since Ninja 2 just came out.

Different Ninja... that one Mothman was talking about is the sequel to Enter The Ninja and Revenge Of The Ninja with Sho Kosugi. Classic 80s action.

Would love to know your thoughts - While neither of those films are perfect, they have this element of the absurd that I truly appreciate and would happily revisit.

...

Just added a bunch of stuff to my queue - Now I just need another week off to get to them.

Dumping Twixt and The Killer Inside Me would help you get through that queue a little quicker.

I'm guessing they aren't all first time viewings? Kind've jealous if they are though, some good flicks there.
