BAD KIDS GO TO HELL ...don't hold your breath just yet. Another teen slasher with a supernatural twist (?), this time based on a graphic novel. (really?!)

On a stormy Saturday afternoon, six students from Crestview Academy begin to meet horrible fates as they serve out their detentions. Is a fellow student to blame, or perhaps Crestview's alleged ghosts are behind the terrible acts?

THE MAN WHO SHOOK THE HAND OF VICENTE FERNANDEZ ...looks promising. Looks like Ernest Borgnine left us with a gem.

Ernest Borgnine plays Rex Page, an old man who is bitter about never becoming famous and having lived a life without any meaning. After suffering a stroke, he ends up in a nursing home staffed by Latin American immigrants. Put off by the situation, Rex focuses his energy on getting out, which places him at odds with the Latino workers. However, their relationship takes on new meaning when it is discovered that he once shook hands with Vicente Fernandez, a Mexican singer, producer and actor idolized throughout Latin culture. The employees soon begin to treat Rex like the celebrity he's always dreamed of being.

BEAUTIFUL CREATURES ...second trailer of a film I find fascinating and promising (and a MUCH better option than the Twilight series). Hope it lives up.

Ethan longs to escape his small Southern town. He meets a mysterious new girl, Lena. Together, they uncover dark secrets about their respective families, their history and their town.

THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES ...yet another fantasy/adventure with a tinge of horror, but looks semi-decent.

When her mom is attacked and taken from their home in New York City by a demon, a seemingly ordinary teenage girl, Clary Fray, finds out truths about her past and bloodline on her quest to get her back, that changes her entire life.

THE HOST ..."from Stephenie Meyer the author of the Twilight saga" screams the promo/poster, but that isn't exactly a pull for the horror crowds, is it? Since Twilight is now a global phenomenon, the best way to cash in. Although the premise and the trailer look promising.

A parasitic alien soul is injected into the body of Melanie Stryder. Instead of carrying out her race's mission of taking over the Earth, "Wanda" (as she comes to be called) forms a bond with her host and sets out to aid other free humans.

THE GHOSTMAKER ...(aka Box of Shadows) interesting limited budget effort. Should be fun.

BOX OF SHADOWS, centers around a group of college friends, who discover a 15th century coffin that allows them to experience the world as ghosts. While their first adventures in the spirit world are playful and innocent, the "Box of Shadows" soon brings out the group's most dangerous impulses and desires. The friends find themselves pulled into a world of evil where they learn the line between life and death is there for a reason.

A GLIMPSE INSIDE THE MIND OF CHARLES SWAN III ...don't be put off by the long title, this actually looks like a pretty clever comedy with an all-star cast, headed by Charlie Sheen and Bill Murray.

STORAGE 24 ...I hope this is at least half-decent, unlike the other monster films we have been subjected to, in recent times.

THE RIFT ...interesting little sci-fi. Worth a watch, IMO.
