I love Burton but like Disease said he hasn't directed a horror movie and besides Eli Roth is awesome and Hostel was really good.

Seriously? Sleepy Hollow, Sweeney Todd, Corpse Bride, Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, Frankenweenie all range from straight-up horror to drama/comedy with strong horror elements.

Even if you dismiss the comedies and the musical, Sleepy Hollow is a freakin great horror film.

Tim Burton - 6 (fortunato, Straker, neverending, newb, Zero, roshiq)
Eli Roth - 5 (CaptainSpaulding, realdealblues, hammerfan, Disease, The Villain)
Masayuki Ochiai - 1 (FreddyMyers)

Tim Burton wins.
