...of course it could be referring to the Crispin Glover remake.

yup thats pretty much exactly what i meant ,creature from the black lagoon,return of the living dead,exorcsist all that shit,and some early 90s stuff too

I actually really liked the remake with Crispin Glover - I think it was a good revamping of the original.
