Would you buy...?

On ps3/xbox360/current pc, a re-released GTA collection
Including

GTA 3, Vice City, San Andreas
All using the updated graphics, control and combat system of the fourth one, along with original and additional music tracks, and downloadable content missions?

...I've been thinking I'd like to see that.
I tried to play GTA Vice City for the first time in ages a while ago...arguably my personal favourite of the series...but it really HAD been a while, it looked rather dated which I can usually get around, but going back to the "old" control system proved to be something I personally didn't want to deal with.

Can you imagine how cool a modern day Vice City, or hell even sequels set in each of those respective titles, would be?

See, THAT is what they need to do...though the 70's *could* work

Honestly, after playing San Andreas pt3 seemed boring(haven't played Vice City). SA is pretty cheap too, I downloaded it off of x-box live for $15.

I might, but I'd really like to see a Vice City sequel like you said. Something about the way they recreated the era, the songs... the cars... the colors...

I haven't been as impressed with a GTA game since.

I have to agree.

Vice City has been the GTA highlight so far.

I'd agree with the first part there...it still had some good missions though, but it does seem to suffer from the protagonist having no dialogue whatsoever...it did what it did well at the time but was quickly exceeded by the next title.
Though on the SA thing I'd still rather a remake/sequel/SOMETHING new than paying for the same game again. I've still got SA on ps2 if I wanna hammer into it again, it actually remains a pretty solid game, lots to do.

Yeah guys I can't say that GTAVC isn't my most favourable...I mean given that SA kind of took it to bigger levels in certain ways, I preferred the looks, setting, and storyline of VC by far.
If only one GTA were to be remade or sequelled (well...a bigger/better sequel than vcs) it would definitely be VC, I would just LOVE to see what they could do with it these days...as long as they didn't make it seem like a carbon copy of #4 "with colour". Maybe a really souped up cell shaded title would work?

Seriously though, unless they do something better in whatever their "next round" is, GTA is said and done for me...Gay Tony *slightly* bought back some fun into the series, and while I appreciate the new storylines and the "choices" type stuff, the rest of the games from GTA4 onwards have simply not, er, struck me, and absorbed me like 3-SA have.

SPEAKING OF!!!

An open world solve-a-crime theme sounds pretty good in my ears.
