Christmas: Comedy Records etc
I recall folks used to give records as presents for Christmas, I am talking the LP days when a record was a big, cool thing...it was fun unwrapping the record, and as often as not it was a comedy album. Folks would sit around listening to the funny stuff at dinner gatherings and soforth. Some favorite LP presents were Monty Python Live at City Center, Steve Martin LPs, Great White North...do you guys have any favorite comedy albums for Christmas listening?

Well, of course any of Bob Rivers' Christmas albums- White Trash Christmas, Chipmunks Roasting on an Open Fire, etc.
Stan Freburg's classics Spike Jones has a 20 minute long version of the Nutcracker that is amazing. South Park's Christmas Album The Jingle Cats (love em or hate em - I love em) Christmas time is so ripe for comedy there's so much to chose from...
