				The Stand
			 
			
			
			I know the movie blows in comparison to the Stephen King novel, but I really enjoy the premise behind "The Stand."  Really creepy idea to think about such a small percentage of the population being left behind after a catastrophic disease wipes out mankind.  I like movies and or books where people have to come together after a devastating event occurs and the subsequent feelings of isolation and comrodory.  Makes me always wonder how I would fare in a situation like that.  Speaking of, cant wait for Eastman's graphic novel "The Walking Dead" to premire on AMC.  I am a gnar core fan of the novels.
