Flame and Citron (2008). A story of two solid though human heroes that fought for a rather pure cause, but through not so pure channels. War, intrigue, and double dealing is nary a fresh subject, but the simplicity, and intensity, of our central characters makes for a great story. Based on real events, this story gives a fairly accurate account of the Danish response to Nazi occupation. The acting was wonderful, and the chemistry between our leads was almost palpable. The direction was strong. And while the camera work might have been a little hyperactive, i did not find it distracting in the least. All in all a wonderful flick from our Danish friends. Merci beaucoup.
derek ps Romance novels???:o
