The 6th Sense. I was probably 8 or 9 years old at the time, I remember it was when I was in grade 3 in elementary school and my parents went out on a date and I got stuck with a lame babysitter, she rented us a movie and ordered us a pizza and we watched this movie, couldn't sleep right for months! I was so scared!

First couple of Horror movies that I actually sat up and watched were pretty much all Franchise horror flicks.
1) The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation (1994) - I thought it was a pretty kick-ass horror film, I was only young when I watched it though. 2) Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988) - Was also young when I watched it, but it scared me a whole lot more than the Friday the 13th movies did at the time. 3) Freddy Vs. Jason (2003) - Yes, I was twelve years old when this movie was released in theaters, Couldn't watch it until it was released on DVD though due to my age, loved it nonetheless and it was my entrance movie into the Friday the 13th franchise. |

I think it was John Carpenter's "Christine", decent film, though book is much better, but movie never scared me. I also watched "the Unnamable" and the first part of "the Howling V" around the same time, but I prefer "Christine."

A Nightmare on Elm Street. My older sister and her friend rented it when it first came out on VHS. Scared the hell out of me.

I remember this one well. I was six years old and my teenage sister was having a sleep over, I was told to leave them alone but you know how that goes. I snuck downstairs after the parents went to bed, and they were all watching "The Last House on The Left". Terrified me!
