Someone REALLY should have told me Absinthe tastes like black licorice.
I hate black licorice.
Man, I feel like a tool.

Just had a beer called Dragonbreath. It's a dark hefeweizen, a bit odd but really good. I also discovered a beer called Nine Pound porter, it's a bit spicy and really really good.

I also bought my girlfriend a nice bottle of white wine from a local vineyard. Normally I don't like white wine that much but these guys know what their doing. I'm stopping in there next week for a free wine tasting.

If you get a chance try some moscato d'asti
Don't think I've tried a brand so far that sux.
It's light, white, sweet and sparkly

Hmm, this new wine has given me hope for white wine so I think I'll check that out. I'm more of a sangria and chianti guy myself, I like them a bit dry.

I had this drink once called a brain hemorrhage....I swear it LOOKED like one and went down like phlem...mostly tasted like black licorice..* shudder *.

Weird I thought Absinthe tased like insanely strong mouthwash.

Drank some Hoegaardens last night. I'll have to do it more often I forgot how much I liked this beer. Pretty expensive over here but thats all good if you only feel like drinking a few beers. Been into "quality over quantity" lately :D

Does it make a difference if you don't strain the water over a sugar cube?
I couldn't find sugar cubes...do they even make the damn things anymore??

Anyway, mouthwash doesn't sound any better...:(

im a fan of cheap beer. 40s for me. big bear and steelies.
but im a huge fan of Everclear and apple cider boiled together. warm apple pie. mm mm good. gets you set and tastes amazing.
but im a bud man mostly.

Never tried it before, hope it's decent. I've mostly been drinking Pump House lately - great stuff, try it if you can - but now that I've moved I can't find it anywhere. Seems it's more regional than I though, which is a real shame.
