Thats sick! Its amazing how many teachers get away with stuff. Thats why my daughter or son will not be going to school. Im homeschooling.

Agreed.

Some years in elem and my first year in middle school I was picked on mainly for the stereotypical "goody-goody two shoes" image. I always wore the school uniform--even when it was no longer explicitly mandatory, had my hair in pigtails, always reached out to befriend everyone, and being an academic and extra-curricular over-achiever. I suppose the overlining reason was jealousy or popularity(you know how some bullies become bullies to become popular amongst the "cool guys" or if there's nothing people can be admirable about them, they instill a reaction in you: fear)

It stopped 7th & 8th grade and by highschool went to just common name-teasing (but amongst peers I was cool with--not neccessarily bffs with but asssociates) I was called things like "walking-dictionary" and "anna" (for over-analyzing)

But overall though it can be difficult, I've found that ignoring the bullies is key--when no one's showing them any attention, they lose interest in the picking-on-you game. Yes, yes, there are some stages when people who are in school and not necessarily mentally or socially stable who continue despite this but generally I think attentiveness plays a big part. Because they can fuck with you as long as they want, but when you make something of yourself or relatively satisfied with life, and they look like an ass--It's you that will have the last laugh. Fight back with kindness. :)

I haven't experienced anything like that. The onlly thing close to that I know off are some teachers of mine offly close--that many of the students suspected the were dating. There's one particular teacher (Ms. Taylor) who always seemed to have a reason to interrupt my IB English class junior year and bother the teacher for some reason. One day he gave us an assignment said he'd be right back, but didn't return til the ringing of the class bell. We think he went to Taylor's room, but you guys guess is as good as mine.

Through my time in high school I've became a very hate filled person who doesn't trust anybody.I don't even have freinds outside of work or the net because of my anti trust issues.

You're alone on this one. Typically people have bad experiences either with how someone treated them directly, or a situation they know someone experienced that ended on a bad note which makes them have difficulty trusting people. I suppose the same can be for the reverse--I've noticed that at times I trust too easily which can have the same negative feeling you have against trusting. Perhaps that is a weakness of mine.

Freak's not alone. I've been screwed over by people so many times that I am very hard to trust too. I have very few friends, and I'm not even very close to them.

i have no trust issues .. except with commisioned sales people who i think are all crooks by nature.

i dont know if i've been 'screwed over' if i have i've forgotten - not something i dwelled upon.

I trust most people i meet - treat everyone at face value - until they do something that proves they arent trustworthy. at THAT point i'll never trust them again but i dont go through life assuming everyone is like that.

Yes, I agree with you too. I re-read the post and realized I had a typo. I meant to write "you're not alone on this one." I forgot the "not" Sorry to anyone who posted afterwards. That wasn't what I meant.

I'm the same way. I have like many 3 people besides my boyfriend that I consider real friends. And out of those people there's probably only one of them that I can confide in.
