Question Question about The Marsh

Can anyone tell how Maude and Denman Rose from 1902 fit into the story? I assume there's supposed to be some link with them to the events that take place later in the film, but I can't figure it out...

I honestly don't remember much about this movie, it was one of those that just came and went for me...It didn't make much of an impact

My best guess is that the house originally belonged to them, and they owned pretty much the whole town...So, it may be something to do with people in power protecting the secrets of a small town, so as not to besmirch their 'integrity' or something...Maybe the 'connection' is just related to their power and influence, to help explain why the murder was covered up

At least someone knows what she's talking about.

Aww, go ahead and poke fun, we do that here :)

As for my answer, I'm very likely wrong, but that's the best that I could come up with

It was hardly the horror movie of the year, so I guess it wouldn't make much of an impression on most people. I liked it because it has the ghost of a little girl.

That answer is about as good as any. I never even thought of that possibility.
