Trying to find, please help

okay, here goes

back when I was about 13 me and my buddy rented a VHS/betamax from the rental place that I think was called 'The Mind Killers' , I can't find it on IMDB

it was shot on what looked slightly better than a home camcorder, about a pair of teens who test a knowledge drug on themselves to increase their intelligence; the unwitting victim's head grows until his brain finally escapes his head and becomes a gross slug monster thing. Also featuring a memorable scene where his friend is trying to get laid by making wolf sounds to his girlfriend before his buddy rings up to say his head hurts real bad.

I'm hoping this is the one place I can come where people won't look at me like I'm crazy when I say this.

terrible quality, circa. 1985-1992, US release, I think I have the title wrong. There's a cast of maybe 3 or 4 people, it looks like a real lame homemade effort
