As for your cat, do you let the cat "sleep" with you? I know a lot of people do that and they wonder why they have trouble sleeping. Cats are nocturnal and move around too much at night. I have two cats and keep them sequestered in the kitchen at night. It works best for all of us.

Whatever amphetamines your doctor has you on, you need to get off of them. Jacking your system up not only deprives you on the rest time your body needs, but it puts strain on your organs. You might want to take a sleeping pill for a week or two to catch up on your sleep. But yeah, amphetamines are bad.

How are the other things in your life going? Are you happy? Do you have alone time or something you can do to relax and destress? Sometimes I feel physically sick/tired when mentally, I am not happy. I have been doing yoga and it has made a big difference in my life not only exercise wise (which is clinically shown to make you happier) but also for my mood and has allowed me to destress and ultimately deal with life better.

I hope things get better. :)
Thanks:)

The cat doesn't sleep with anyone, he has realized sleeping humans tend to kick and squash him:D
The cat is ear splittingly loud when he's hungry and he seems to be hungry at 6am every morning. I mean, I have to get up then anyway-just would prefer it to be without cat breath and annoying rowls in my face. I'm weird that way.

I used to do yoga alot and love the benefits, but I tell ya, I cannot even think to do anything beyond what it required of me and even that is getting put on the short list.
I was always a maniac about things being clean, but now, my house has DUST:eek:
And I really could care less.

Depression. It can be insidious and you may not even be aware of it (no post-partum, just plain old, run of the mill depression).

Have you been down about anything lately?
Ahem... .

Sure.
But then I think, if I was depressed and then had medication for depression-I should have had some kind of relief or even a slice of optimism here or there .

I went through all that a year ago...and I am still mad I had to give up breastfeeding to take all those pills that did nothing but acerbate the problem.
Nope, I am so done with that and therapy.

I have this gut feeling it's something wrong with the chemicals going to the wrong places.

Not to mention, who knows what lasting effects the drugs have?...

I have thought it was everything you guys have mentioned.

And beer has lost it's appeal with me lately, I'm sorry to say Newb.:p

I can't imagine someone who has really not had any major health problems get to this point in less than 2 years.
It makes no sense.

I see the doctor again next week.
I always think she is going to have some epiphany about what the hell is wrong with me.
I hate doctors.

Have you thought about getting a second opinion? I know it's a pain in the ass, but if it would help it might be worth it.

Has your doctor considered Chronic Fatigue Syndrome?
