I think most of those medicines (Propecia, Rogaine, etc.) require that you take them for the rest of your life, don't they?

Yeah they do, which is why I'm debating if they're really worth the money. As soon as you stop taking them, poof, you lose your hair again.

This is bad, bud.

You better take the advice of a proper specialist of this field and go ahead with what he says. Losing hair isnt half as bad if its in the early stages, and I am sure specialists have better remedies for it in hand than making you pop in pills for the rest of your life.

And also, stop sweating the small things in life. It will make things a wee bit easier to get through. :)
