Is WoW worth it?

Nine days left in my trial, probably going to pick it up tomorrow.

Still, past my lvl 9 char, how is it?

I played WoW for 2 or 3 months. This was about 2 years ago now.

It really takes a large investment of time to get anything out of it. Early on, the quests etc are relatively short, and you can do them by yourself.

But as you get to higher levels, some quests get much longer, and some require a group to complete. Because you are doing stuff with a group, you can't pause/save and come back later to finish it off.

The alternative is just to sit around killing animals that are a few levels lower than you. A very slow and boring way to move up levels.

I got bored with the game pretty quickly. But I also found that I had nowhere near the time required to play the game properly.

My opinion as well.

I'm not a team player.
