Ex Machina by Brian K. Vaughan et. al.

Its a very cinematic comic book...it'd be perfect on film. I'd love it if they held off production for about 15 years though, when I'm A) a successful actor, and B) old enough to play Mayor Hundred. Man, that'd be a dream role.

Speaking of dream roles...Catcher in the Rye desperately needs to be made. I'm sure thats been brought up countess times in this thread, but it has to be repeated. Stupid Salinger and his hatred for Hollywood, depriving us all of what has every potential to be one of the best movies of all time....

He can be brought around. Frank Miller was the same way and look at Sin City.

As for The Biggest Sandwich Ever, I dunno who'd play the guy. I originally envisioned a Jack Black type, but the look isn't right. I'd have to say Jim Broadbent would be perfect.

I want someone to do Jurassic Park just like the book, and not sugar coat it for families like Spielberg did. It's still a fantastic film, but from the context of the book it was severely ruined.

My boyfriend picked this book up on a whim, though he hasn't read it... I'm assuming that it's a good read? Do tell. I'm curious to hear about it.

...

As for me, I always wanted to adopt The Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury, make the story a bit more linear and make a really good, dramatic existential scifi film.

Posh - Good call for a more faithful Jurassic Park. The book was fantastic and there were some pretty gruesome parts that I would have liked to see on the screen.
