I'm the guys age - but experiencing nothing like this guy is. I'm not saying it's less natural than The Fly, but somehow i was able to sympathize more with Seth Brundle than I was with Spaceys character. and i guess thats the key to me liking one film more than another when forced to chose (between 2 competently made films) - can i identify with/ or at least dig the character. i would pick The Fly.
