how do you make the file size small enough without downgrading the picture quality too much?

I use photoshop and the "save for web" function and then optimize the file by finding a good balance between picture size and quality. There are also some free pic optimizers out there but they don't give you as much control.

The lucifer one needs to be a bit smaller I think, it's height was something like 192 pixels (150 max). Other than that they look great.

ok I tried and I failed..... I don't know how to make them a decent size without being more than 2.4kb... they are too small when im done with them.... wtf.... I was wondering if anybody could make one for me. if I posted the picture i mean. I can't figure it out.

I could try whenever I had the time and FC AND _V_ are both great at reducing the file sizes.

Well if somebody will, heres the image....



I'd like to have it cropped so that its just the head of the screaming zombie. thats pretty much it, I keep trying to do it and its either the wrong file type or its too big....

Here's a couple quick ones, I tried them both out and they fit just fine. Let me know if either will work ok... at least until somebody gets a better one done. :)

Let me know if you like the first or the second and I can email the file to you. If you upload it directly from your pc it's 2.38 kb but if you look at the photobucket size it's a little over the limit.
