Saw IV Unrated Director's Cut
Lions Gate Home Entertainment has officially announced Saw IV, which stars Tobin Bell, Scott Patterson, and Betsy Russell. The Darren Lynn Bousman directed horror will be available to in seperate rated (95 minutes) and unrated (98 minutes) editions on January 22. Each will retail at around $29.95. A Blu-ray edition will also be available for $39.99. Each will include an audio commentary with Producers Oren Koules and Mark Burg and Executive Producers Peter Block and Jason Constantine, a second commentary with Director Darren Lynn Boussman and Actor Lyriq Bent, Darren's Video Diary, featurettes on the traps and props of the film, a SAW IV Music Video by "X-Japan", and a bonus deleted scene. Blade: The Series 4-disc set The hunt is on as Blade continues the battle against his immortal bloodsucking enemies in Blade: The Series, arriving on DVD from New Line Home Entertainment on February 12, 2008. Now, the complete series featuring all 13 extended, unrated and “too-graphic-for-TV” episodes, will be available in an action-packed, four-disc set. Video ETA lists the Ultimate Grindhouse collection for June 08'! I'm so happy waited and didn't buy Death Proof and Planet Terror before this baby hits the shelves. If it's anything like the Japanese set we'll be in for a treat. ![]() ![]()

The Weinstein Company and Genius Entertainment have announced the DVD specs for THE MIST, which arrives in a two-disc Collector’s Edition and a single-disc release March 25.
The most unusual feature on the double-disc set is an exclusive black-and-white presentation of the film (as befits its retro-monster-movie veneer) to go with the full-color widescreen transfer (with Dolby 5.1 sound). Created by the folks behind the HILLS HAVE EYES remake and directed by Franck Khalfoun, P2 stars Rachel Nichols as a young businesswoman who becomes trapped in her building’s subterranean parking garage by a security guard (Wes Bentley) with a psychopathic fixation on her. - Warner Home Video has announced 1-disc ($28.98) and 2-disc special editions ($34.99) of I Am Legend, which stars Will Smith.
Each will be available to own from the 18th March. The film itself will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. The only extra material on the 1-disc release will be 4 animated comics (Death As a Gift, Isolation, Sacrificing the Few for the Many, and Shelter), and some DVD-ROM features. The 2-disc special edition will include all that, along with an alternate theatrical version of the film with a "controversial" ending. HD-DVD/DVD Combo and Blu-ray releases will also be available for $35.99 with all of the 2-disc features. The covers can be viewed here.
